Happy St Patty's Day!

I have been so busy lately. Today is my breif respite cuz the rest of the week is gonna be crazy. I get tired thinkin about it, good thing my deep IRISH roots wont let me work too hard today. If you did not know i am i think a good 1/8 irish. or is it 1/4. doesnt matter i must celebrate by dressin in green and drinkin. that is what irish do, you see. they drink and wear green. and so on this day i will honor my heritage by doin just that. i'm feelin a rootbeer kegger comin, who's with me!!

A slightly more problematic traditional irish custom is the pinching of those who aren't like them, it's a problem cuz of my irish tendancies all day i've had an urge to pinch those who refuse to celebrate their or my irish history. apparently that is not "acceptable" on the "BYU campus" (so says the cheif (what are they indians?) of the university police squad. . .) you see back in Ireland, if you're not irish they pinch you or at least if you dont pretend to be irish they do, thus the custom of pinching anyone not wearing green on the day of Saint Patrick. He was a pretty cool guy. banished snakes from ireland and such. heard he once slept under a bush and it bloomed ever christmas thereafter til the bush was destroyed during WWI.

Think you know your Irish heritage? i challenge you to the "all things irish quiz"! i got 2 right.

Now if you'll excuse me i gotta see a short man about a four leaf clover.

no, we're totally Irish. Gran was half, which makes grumpa 1/4, me 1/8 and you 1/16. Plus there's Irish blood on Dad's side, too, but a little farther back. Makes you like 1/10, at least.
