oh so witty

I was thinking about blogging something, but all I came up with was nothing.

I feel like I need to be more witty.  With some more wits I could write something more interesting.

so I decided I need to read another book. a book that will make me smarter
any suggestions??

#1: Anna Karenina. It's long. It's complicated. It tells the truth (even though, like all fiction, it's a lie.) It is very interesting, particularly if you don't try to read all of it at once. (Think about the long Russian winter.) And when you finish it you will have expanded your soul--or at least you can brag to snooty people who like to talk about all the books they've read. :)

#2: I just read Drive by Daniel Pink. It might have an impact on your future education (management). It made me smarter, and it's a LOT shorter than Anna Karenina.

#3: The Road by Cormac McCarthy will make you smarter about all sorts of things, like how to survive after a nuclear holocaust and how your future kids have it easy (they'll know what Coke is, anyway.) And, it's shorter than Anna Karenina. But don't read it if you are feeling blue today, though. The end is quite cheery by comparison, but the middle--not so much. But I'm actually Russian, so what do I know.

I will stop at three, for everyone's sake, unless you like/don't like these and still trust me enough to give recommendations... :)
