your mother is graduating with her associates degree in English. She thought it wise, just in case she couldn't muster the energy to get her bachelors degree (which fortunately was not the case, as she most assuredly did muster that energy, albeit before you were even born). This degree was awarded at the now-burned-down-but-rebuilding-as-a-temple Provo Tabernacle.
